Liberty Information Technology is a large software development organization based in the heart of Belfast City Centre, employing 300 professionals with plans to grow. We are looking to recruit a capable and enthusiastic individual into the important front of house role of Administrator; joining a small but busy HR team you will report to the HR Manager.

The Role:

The placement runs from summer 2012 to summer 2013. The duties of the role can be categorized under 3 key areas:

HR duties

  • Recruitment administration - organizing interviews and interview packs
  • Pre employment administration - preparation of offer letters, organizing pre-employment medicals etc
  • Orientation administration - preparation of orientation packs and organizing mentors for new starts
  • Training administration -booking and recording training. Following up with evaluation
  • Updating and maintaining absence records

Administration duties

  • Management of a number of HR Information Systems - running reports and analyzing information on hours worked
  • General support administration support
  • Co-ordinate company events, e.g. annual Christmas party etc.

Reception duties

  • Meet and greet visitors and operate switchboard
  • Organize post
  • Deal with general visitor and staff enquiries
  • Order catering for meetings and visitors

The Person
The successful candidate will:

  • Be studying for a Business related degree, e.g. Human Resources Management, Business Management etc... and have evidence of good 1st year marks
  • IT literate with excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrate a genuine and practical interest in human resources
  • Be a participative team member with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Have good A-Level / BTEC / HND results
  • Have excellent business language skills
  • Have previous administration work experience
