At Liberty IT, it is our philosophy to hire the right people, develop them to their fullest potential and create an environment in which they can succeed. Our approach to looking after our people is holistic. In addition to our comprehensive learning and development offerings, we promote activities that encourage better physical and psychological health, better working relationships, and at times when you need more specialist support, we provide it through our employee assistance programme.
Protecting our planet is a key priority and we continually strive to identify more environmentally friendly ways of working. As part of this, we have a committee of employees in place, known as the “LIT Green Scene”, to help shape our company’s green agenda, increase awareness and drive long lasting change. From recycling, to conserving energy, to becoming more efficient with our resources – we adopt a common sense approach to minimising our impact on the environment, through strategies such as tracking measures, quick wins and educational sessions.
Responsibility is of key importance in Liberty IT and this spans beyond our work internally and out into the communities we live in. We fully support employee volunteering, both company organised as well as personal volunteering events, to help us make a difference to the lives of many in our local communities. Additionally, we hold regular events to raise much needed funds and awareness for our two chosen Charities of the Year, which our employees have the opportunity to nominate each year. We also continually partner with local education institutions, community groups and Industry panels to encourage and support the growth of the IT sector.
